Taiwan VIII - Fozo Restaurant
The day before, Dondon took the day off to bring me shopping for a dress for my cousin's wedding. We went through a few shops but I have yet to see any that was worth buying. Might have to do that in Malaysia now. Damn, I have less than a month to look for one but I'm not the least bit worried at all since I'm pretty sure I'd be able to find a decent one in Malaysia.
Of course I didn't go home empty handed as usual. I bought some stockings, make up - Evian's toner and moisturiser spray and Maybelline's 2 in 1 mascara, some munchies and nicks and nacks. We took some old school neoprints as well, since Dondon wanted to do so. We probably spent an hour in there since we kept messing up with the designs as the instructions were all in Japanese. -_-"
Our tummies started growling after, so we headed back to Dondon's motorbike to scout for some decent looking restaurants for dinner. Wouldn't you want to eat in this place as well if you the place looked like this? How classy! They provide menus outside of the building so that customers can have an idea of what was served in this restaurant.
It was raining throughout the whole day. Of all days, why today?
The atmosphere is a tranquilic one. Not the best place to goss and laugh outloud!
The place was still pretty empty when we got there. It started getting packed only when we finished our meals, good timing! Dondon tried to take pictures after our meal but the pictures didn't turn out as nice since people kept walking around.
Entree, pumpkin soup. It tasted really good, there were pieces of meat found at the bottom. I thought that it would've tasted better if it was served hotter. I like my soups boiling hot hahaha. You must be wondering what that fuck the pencil is doing there for. We mark what we want on the pieces of paper provided to order our meals.
My choice of the day. It was superb! The side dishes were onion rings, potato stars, and vegetables. I'm not sure what the yellow stringy ones were. They tasted really good though!
The toilets are located upstairs. The second level wasn't opened for seatings since there weren't many customers when we came.
My yummilicious drink. You can taste the cocoa powder in it. It tasted really strong, but in a good way though! Not overdosed.
Desserts were served at the end. It's like cheesecake, except the cheese is put into this glass first, followed by the crunched biscuit layer and lastly, topping it up with fruits and a pinch of whipped cream. Sorry about the blurry pic, I forgot to change it to the close-up mode again!
Dondon ordered hotpot, her all time favourite. She didn't want to take pictures of her food for me because she didn't want to look weird hahaha. Overall, I would say that the food in Fozo is fantastic and I would definitely love to come back for more again! The costs of the food are not overpriced, and are very cheap compared to other classy restaurants as well!
Unfortunately for me, my ride home was a wet one since it was still drizzling when we left the restaurant. Thanks alot mother nature!
