So sorry that I can't be there to celebrate this special day with you. Make sure you celebrate your birthday even though you hate birthday celebrations. You hated celebrating your birthdays since you were a toddler, that's pretty weird since all kids love birthdays! You're such a granny inside sis! :P I'll try and grant your birthday wish when you come here in october haha, lets hope I get some time off work to accompany you and the parents when you guys come for Victor and Paula's wedding. I was so tempted to put a stupid caption there saying, "eh shit that lizard better not fall onto my head", but it's your birthday post wahaha damn. Anyhoo, best of luck in your last year of high school, don't worry you'll ace your exams since you're such a smarty pants. :) Mwah, I love you sis, we'll have a belated celebration with you when you get here! Kanny's Birthday

I know this is really late, but what the heck at least I'm catching up hehe. Since I'm not out tonight I might as well blog before I start slacking again.

Kanny's birthday was on the 14th of April, so her beloved boyfriend organised a party for her at Echoes as we always do, but this time in the vip room. The room was filled with so many people, and although the room is massive, it was still packed to the core. There were alot of people we didnt know of as well since we only just got back from nz.

At the beginning it felt a little weird because it was so packed and everyone was so far apart from one another. After some time, most of the random people left and it was back to cozy, crazy, catching up. It was so awesome making Kanny drink since she's always the one making sure everyone gets smashed on their birthdays hahaha. Pay back time hunny!

When it was twelve am, Kanny did the traditional bottoms up with the jug, but towards the end all of us helped out. She was officially drunk. She wasn't alone though, we were all pissed since it's been ages since we drank together again, it felt really really awesome!

I don't quite remember when we took the groupie piccies, but oh well. :p It was a great night. Happy birthday baby girl, I love you long time. Hope you had as much fun as we did woman!

Woohoo, thanks for some of the piccies ashley babe! I dunno what to do for my birthday next week. Every year we try not to celebrate our birthdays at ktvs but we always end up doing so just because it's so convenient! Clubbomania / Parent's Anniversary / Daddy's Bigday

The first place I visited with my friends was at Heritage Row, Cynna Bar and Loft. We were actually suppose to be at the Loft but because it was thronged with so many people, we had to shift to Cynna Bar. What a pity, I only whipped out my camera at the beginning instead of when everyone arrived. Shoulda done that cause now I don't get pics of everyone else! It was an awesome night. We had black label and beer! And for some reason, most of us kinda bumped into our exes that night haha, ew. What ex? Grins.

So my second cousin Fushen came back from brissie after finishing his exams. Here we are at Passion, his second home apparently. It sure is pretty small.. packed with too many people too! Just imagine a can of sardines and you'll get what I mean.

Us towards the end of the night. Jac ended up getting sick towards the end due to work stress and not having much dinner. I swear I just look tipsier than I really was :p


That night in Passion, I decided to go to the bar next door to use the washroom instead and I coincidentally bumped into a very old 'friend' from bris. Honestly, she wasn't really a friend, but a friend's housemate. While I was in the loo doing my business haha, she was asking Ling if I was Sharon from brisbane. And Ling said yeah you'll probably know her and when I came out she introduced herself and I was like 0_o oh hey!

Yeah, and she filled me in with some old goss regarding so and so and we were all astounded. I can't believe they got married. Me flabberghasted. Back then it was a huge opera soap scene as they were both attached to different people and trying so hard to prove that they weren't together but in the end?! Oh well. All the best to him and her.

Isn't it amazing how gossips can travel? Had I not gone to the next door bar's washroom, all of us wouldn't have known the truth! Especially the people that were involved, who were my friends. What a small small effing world. Don't play play man hahaha. But I decided to keep mum since they've all moved on. What's the point hey, everyone's happier now.

Man I have so many clubbing pics, doubt I'll post all of 'em up. Anyways, 24th October was the parent's 23 years anniversary! Here's their lovin' caught on camera.

Then now on the 25th October, it's daddy's birthday. I wonder if Mom's marriage to him back then was his biggest birthday pressie? Hahaha, ew! Anyhoo..

Happy birthday Bro!

It's so weird having to wish you on the net and not in person because you're still travelling all over and currently at the retreat in Myanmar. Usually, you'd be around and we'd have to come up with our annual surprise parties for you with the coussies which always seem to work hey, hahaha.

Remember a few years ago, you got pretty pissed off because I left the house at around 11.30pm, only to surprise you half an hour later with everyone else? Then how about the year after where we all pretended as if we've forgotten your birthday and then we all ended up surprising you at the karaoke room with your cake after the korean food?

Time flies, it sure feels crap without you around to nag at me. We've all graduated and residing in different places now. Well I hope you're having a kick ass time and finding your happiness wherever you are. Make sure we meet up next year! I know its not that bad, you're just at your end of the rainbow with your own pot of gold that's all hey!

Fiona's 24th Birthday @ Uber

Fiona held her birthday in Uber bar at Westend for her twenty-fourth. Before proceeding to Uber, we actually had a little birthday dinner and cake cutting session with her. Everything was kinda rushed since we all had to finish up dinner, get her to cut the cake, and then get ready to go to Uber. Phew, everything's always fast and furious when it comes to Fiona hahaha which by the way we finally watched Fast and Furious - Tokyo Drift today. It was awesome. Some scenes really reminded me of Initial D though, like the competition at the mountains and the baddie's car falling off the slopes bit. Happy endings are always a must though!

Surprisingly, I got the Tiramisu cake for her from Sunny Bakery, and it ended up tasting better than the one at La Cassamia! How weird was that? I think they kinda copied the same design, but it was superbly yummy, not too heavy on the alco, and not sickeningly sweet or anything like that either. Cool.

Sally was the designated driver for the night. We were alil disappointed that they weren't playing their usual RnB, and the dance floor wasn't opened till alot later when we all were pissed and about to leave! The company and the drinks were good though, which makes up for everything. It was great seeing everyone and catching up again. I stuck to just wine for the whole night for fear of ending up dead drunk just like when i PR-ed for Fi's 21st. ;P

The birthday girl was showered with lotsa gifts and wahaha, the alcohol kept flowing in. By the time it was 12, she was pretty smashed already. The bouncer had to lead her down and as he was telling her that he was gonna guide her downstairs, Fiona did something totally hilarious. She looked up at the bouncer and gave her side way glance and replied, "Well are you good looking enough first?". Hahahaha. All of us broke into crazy laughters. Man, she will always be the same hahaha.

Jerry's Birthday @ Fridays

Yay, we've got piccies from Jerry's birthday courtesy of Cherry as you can see from her blog. Actually before we went for his birthday, Kanny, Janet and I were at Redbox pouring our hearts out singing like some mad women. We had lotsa beers to go around since it was just the three of us. I kept losing to Kanny in chai mui, so I ended up drinking most of the beer. -_-"

Then we proceeded to Fridays. Funny how I was the one driving to Fridays when I was the one who drank the most. When we arrived at our destination, boi was it weird to see all the party people at the same place hahaha. Everyone was busy catching up with one another and drinking away. It was good seeing everyone again. :)

As bimbo-ish as this is going to sound, I just realised how quickly my hair colour has faded from these pictures. It changed from purplish-red, to copper red, to argh... boring brown?! damnit. My bangs are growing out real quick too. Hmm, what should I do next?

Couldn't help but Reminisce the Good ol times

How I wish that we could all turn back time and go back to that long ago happiness we all once had before. Love, friendship, trust, youth, friendly faces, entertainment, non-existent worries, an abundance of time, and plenty of alcohol to go along with. Funny how we don't cherish all these things till they all fade away, then we start looking back and missing every single memory that still lingers within us.

Looking back to those few years that I've been with my boi, I've been blessed to be able to experience and meet alot of people from all walks of life, be it anywhere in the world. To be able to meet here in lil ol brisbane was our fate. Now, when I try to count the number of people I've known before, the figures have depleted by a great deal. Friendships and trusts have been broken, student visa's been cancelled, graduation, career, the army, all these were the reasons why everybody wasn't together anymore.

I was sending some photos to a girlfriend of mine today, yes she is one of the girls in the pictures, and this brought a great deal of memories into my head. I thought I might post some up to share. These were taken two years ago, during my boi's birthday....

Brendan's 22nd Birthday

Yesterday, it was my brother's birthday, but we all pretended that we've forgotten it was his birthday. We went for a casual dinner at the Korean Bbq place in Sunnybank. It was so torturous for me to try not to spill the beans. Fiona nearly did so by wishing him happy birthday, but we managed to twist the story and let the known still be left unknown! ;D Rachel is so good at this. Btw, Rachel = YenYen.

After dinner, we pretended to look for a place to have some drinks. We decided to go to Newway because it is a restaurant/karaoke, so that it didn't seem so obvious. Ruby rocked up later and we still pretended that this whole thing was just a casual thing. We started singing and drinking and playing games.


Just before my brother decided that we should leave, one of the staff came in with his birthday cake, and the birthday song came on. He was so surprised, and I felt so relieved knowing that I didn't have to keep it all bottled up to myself anymore!
