More than Meets the Eye

I had two complimentary movie tickets from my company the week before, so bigbadwolf and I went and caught Transformers last week and boi, was it awesome awesome. I reckon it's the best movie of the year even though the year hasn't ended teehee. They've chucked in quite a few different movie genres into one i.e. comedy, chick flick, sci fi action movie, etc and by doing so, they've been able to capture the hearts of most of the audiences.

I thought it was going to be a straight laced movie for the blokes but damn, I sure was impressed. ;D I loved it! I can't believe I walked in to the cinemas with my heart on Hostel 2. Thank god I wasn't being a bitch trying to convince bigbadwolf to watch something else. Bumblebee is so cute period. I love the bit where he suddenly broke down and the sexy love song comes on bwahaha, chick was badass and pretty hot ei. The main character was funny as! I'm sure he is going to be a brilliant actor when he grows up, he is already so witty and humorous now.

And and how about that bit where the girl complains and ask why bumblebee would even morph into a piece of junk and he kicked them out and transformed into an even impressive looking car wahaha. I pissed myself laughing out so loud. Their transformation is so amazing, it just knocks fast and furious or tokyo drift's socks off. Sigh, I'm going to ask bigbadwolf to download the movies so that we can watch it over and over again. Movie of the year I tell you, if you haven't watched it, please do yourself a favour and go watch it now. Yes, now now now, no regrets there hunny.

Last weekend was fantabulous. Ashley baby came back from her holidays from China and Hongkong at last! Thanks for bringing back my shopping list, mwah! Most importantly, karaoke-ing is so much noisier and fun with you back now haha. Welcome back babyY I missed ya heaps!

One down, two more girls to go. ;p I'm so green with envy, Janet's having the time of her life in Maldives with her fam while Cathy's gone to Malaysia as well with her boy. I can't wait for the end of the year for xmas hols now. Got to save save save, why is it oh so hard to save money. God I'm such a slave for money. -_- Does anyone have an antidote for shopping addictions?

Oh and just so you didn't know, winter's such an ass to wake up to in the morning. Two more days till the next weekend, forty-eight hours to go. ;P Can hardly wait. Time please pass by quickly, and when the weekend comes, can you please freeze for abit? Pretty please please haha. I lub you long time? ;p

This weekend will be yenyen's birthday. The week after will be Christina Aguilera's concert and when the girls get back from vacation, woo all the weekends are gonna be all packed out from now on. Anyhoo, blogger has finally uploaded the photos from our crazy weekend. Enjoy enjoy. I sure did!

Superman vs. Spiderman

I have finally gotten to watching Superman Returns last night, and yeah yeah I am aware that I'm quite outdated hahaha. Guess what, I don't even remember watching Superman at all. I know, it' that bad huh. I was pretty damn lost when it came to the second movie, I kept mixing spiderman with superman, heh. I thought that spiderman's grandma and superman's momma looked quite similar. So at the beginning of the movie, I pestered bigbadwolf to explain the details and what happened in the first movie. After finishing the movie, I've come to a point.

Superman is so much better off compared to spiderman.

Why? Okay from a bloke's point of view, he managed to sleep with missy journalist, went forth and multiplied, and have her willingly gone out there to save his ass with the help of her hubby who doesn't even try to pick a fight. Spiderman on the other hand, is still a loser and a loner whose still tryna save the world alone and not getting any. With great powers comes great responsibilities hey, now look what you've done, superman's the flyguy now. Oh, and the journalist is so much hotter than mary jane hahaha.

Oh yeah, there's this one bit that still tickles me. Did you realise that superman always hangs around for quite abit after every rescue mission for photo sessions? Bwahaha, I thought that was hilarious. He gets all the credits doesn't he? Come to think of it, I feel so sorry for spiderman now.

My Name is Earl

Has anyone not watched the comedy My Name is Earl yet? It's down right hilarious, if you haven't you damn well should! I'm still on the first season, downloading each episode off the net. :p

Here's a short summary I got off their website. The show is about a guy named Earl who has taken one too many wrong turns on the highway of life. However, a twist of fate turns his life into a tailspin of life-renewing events. Earl won a small lottery, and, after an epiphany, he is determined to transform his good fortune into a life-changing event as he sets out to right all the wrongs from his past.

Joining Earl (Jason Lee "Almost Famous") along his quest to cleanse his karma are a few dim-witted friends: helpless brother Randy (Ethan Suplee, “Cold Mountain”) and the very sexy Catalina (Nadine Velazquez, “The Bold and the Beautiful”). Even Darnell (Eddie Steeples, “Torque”), the owner of the Crab Shack where Earl drinks beer, offers his support. But it's Earl’s ex-wife Joy (Jaime Pressly, “Not Another Teen Movie”) who won't lift a finger to help unless there's something in it for her.

Despite his seemingly limited intelligence, Earl is oddly effective -- and the top-rated freshman comedy series, like Earl himself, has a voice and style all its own.



You'll love those bunch of losers even though they're so stereotypically stupid, disgusting and crazy. :p

Hanoi Bride

I was just about to edit the draft for my final semester case study when a sound broke my concentration. It was a message from MSN.

JXN: Hey watch this!
Shaz: What is it?
JXN: Just watch it, the main actress really looks like you!
Shaz: :O

After I finished watching the first episode...

Shaz: Er... is it the fringe and the hair or something?
JXN: No, I'm talking about the face.

After I saw Thi Vu, the main actress in the korean drama Hanoi Bride....


















I think it's just the hair and the babyfat face of ours that is similar Jackson. -_-" Waddaya think peeps?

But I ended up watching the whole series because I fell for the storyline. Sobs.

The movie is about a boy that loves girl, and girl who loves boy. Sister forbids girl to love boy, so they are trapped in a world of lies about each other until girl and boy finds out the truth. By then, they are all also trapped in this whole turmoil of hatred, revenge, and complications, it isn't possible to turn back anymore.

So what happens next? You watch. I like it, hahaha. There are 13 series, around 9 minutes each shown on youtube. Watch it if you've got good internet connection. Here you go!
