Been having bbq for two weekends in a row now, look how cute and tiny the bbq set is!

So what have I been up to? Work, catching up with friends during the weekends,

lazing and doing household chores. T_T Yes, my life has been so mundane.


Went to a friend's marriage registration a few weeks ago,


and also had to say goodbye to a girlfriend whose gone back to hong kong for good.

T_T why is everyone leaving!

Ashley is also going away during christmas hols, oh how I hate you baby! I'm going to be stuck in brissie trying to make the best of what's left here for me. So far, I've only got noosa and fraser island planned out, what's everyone else doing for christmas and new years?

Victor and Paula's Wedding

On the sixth of october this year was my oldest cousin's wedding, Victor and Paula. I absolutely loved the lighting at the wedding reception, purple pink haha. What I love about weddings is the family gathering. My family came over and I had such a great time, I think I cried for three days consecutively after they left. Bigbadwolf called me a big baby, shook his head and tried to tuck me into bed, but to no avail. Sigh, I dunno why I'm such a baby too.

On a happier note, I'm going back to Malaysia for holidays next year with bigbadwolf, yenyen and ruby woohoo. I asked my mom if she wanted to go to go to Thailand with us since we were planning to but she snobbed me. I can't believe it! Who wouldn't want to spend time longer with such a wonderful daughter? My god. I think she must be blabbering nonsense without even thinking. She said that she's been there twice already, gah, I'm not gonna stop trying to convince her. Worse comes to worse, I'll make my dad go and then she'll probably wanna tag along then tee hee. Mission will not be impossible! Oh crap, I think I need to book the tickets soon so it doesn't get too exxi.

I hate booking my flights early. I get excited too early and I can't stop daydreaming about malaysian and thai food while working in the office. I'm already imagining myself stuffing my face silly and shopping like there's no tomorrow, sigh. Can't we fast forward to two months later so I don't have to wait so long?

Anyways, here are photos from the wedding. It took me so much effort just to do this because I haven't edited photos and blogged in such a long time. Looking back at the photos, I miss my family so much. :( Patience, patience my dear. I will try to be patient.

Sydney III

With only two hours to get ready after church, some of us were running helter skelter looking for last minute hair salons or shopping for heels to match our dresses for the night. I headed back to the hotel with my family for some lunch since we were starving, after which we had to take turns to shower and get ready. The adults all left at four pm for the tea ceremony, where the newlyweds pay their respect by greeting the adults and getting jewellery or red packets in return.

At the beginning, the bestmen and the bridesmaids made an entrance in pairs, all grooving according to the music that was being played for each of them. The first pair came walking in normally, the second pair as a guitarist and an dancer, and the last pair as models doing catwalks. They were really entertaining and every move they made were surprising and hilarious.

The speeches were made by both parents of the bride and the groom, with lotsa meet-the-fockers humour in their speeches. They also hired lion dancers to entertain the crowd, but we were all very happy and high due to the abundance of alcohol provided. There were white wine, red wine, champagne and many more served. For every bottle of red wine that was finished, in less than a minute, another one would appear again from no where. Talk about great service huh!

There were fireworks outside in the middle of the dinner since it was Australia Day. They had all these planned out already hence the choice of the wedding date, so yeah, free fireworks for them!

At the end of the wedding dinner, the groom and the bride had their cake cutting session, followed by the neverending flashes from everybodies camera. Everyone was having so much fun, so why not take more pictures for happy memories? Then came the groom and the bride's first dance as a newly wedded couple. Everyone was then invited to join them on the dancefloor, afterwhich the romantic music instantly converted to those that were easier to groove to. That was it, nobody stopped moving after that. Not just the youngsters, but even the old. Now I know where we got our genes from hahaha.

A post wedding party was organised after, where all the cousins left to a bar at Starcity Casino to continue drinking while the older relos retired to their rooms. Then came the huggings and kisses and bottomless alcohol supply. What a crazy night, everyone left only after 5am when the bar refused to serve most of us alcohol. Apparently most of us were too drunk to consume anymore alcohol hahaha. It was good anyway, I wouldn't wanna collapse anytime before I get back to my own hotel room! It was good catching up with everybody!

Sydney II

The next day, we left for Saint Joseph College Chapel for the wedding reception. It was kinda shocking for me to see some of my really old classmates from Papua New Guinea since the last time I saw them was when I was merely seven years old! Then there were some of my cousins that we only see when there are weddings and family gatherings to go to. The weather was perfect too, a breezy and sunny day.

The bridesmaids' dresses were really pretty, a shimmery colour of pink and purple. Two of the bridesmaids were the Bride's sisters, Stef and Marina, and the other one was a friend. The two flower girls were our beloved little cute cousin, Brianna, and niece, Jasmine. The bestmen and flower boys were from the groom's family.

Everybody looked so darn good, I really regretted not shopping for a dress now for the afternoon! Hahaha, I was telling myself before, damn I've done so much damage in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Malaysia, I might just try to be nice and stop. Now why you people have to go dress so nice huh? Hehe, just kidding la!

Here are some pictures, enjoy! Before you start looking, I know I know, I need a tan so bad!!! It wasn't my fault! When I left Brisbane, it was already winter in Hong Kong and Taiwan! Then when I came back to Malaysia, I only went out at night so, hush! I do know I need a tan you know :P My cousins are all tanned so nicely, they kept paying me out about how I seemed to be wearing white stockings everytime they look at my legs. Biatchy!!! Hehe, okays I'm gonna stop whinging now.

Sydney I

Oooh yeah, I'm finally back from Sydney! Hooray to no more airplanes for the moment, booo because I miss Sydney already! The flight to Sydney from Brisbane took approximately an hour and fifteen minutes to get there. We stayed at Starcity Casino hotel for the first two nights since it was closer to the church and the place where the wedding dinner would be held. For the last two nights, we switched to Sebel apartments as we had some relatives who were still staying there, and also because there were other shopping areas close by to venture into.

The wedding was totally superb, I had a fantastic time celebrating it with everyone. More pictures of that will be updated later. We took more than 400 pictures in Sydney, how crazy is that? Everyone was snapping away with their cameras every now and then without fail. It was good meeting up with all my cousins and relos again since everyone is usually scattered everywhere in the world when there isn't any excuses to fly back to one country to get together.

Let the pictures talk shall we. These were taken on the first day we arrived in Sydney. Look how clear the sky was! Sydney was just as hot and dry as Brisbane was, but it sure is alot cooler during the night.

Lol and yes, I still cant get over the fact that the people in Sydney are so goddamn good looking. Just take a walk in the city and you'll get my drift. Of course not all of them are, but hey, there are alot more compared to Brisbane which of course makes alotta sense haha. Hubba hubba, ignore me will you!

For dinner, we went over to my cousin's house for at Chatswood. The place had just been renovated, I must say the design is simple but very modern and classy. With high ceilings and such spaciousness, daddy was already falling in love with the interior! We were all hanging out with the bride-to-be, her last night of singlehood!
