The Big Bad Pressie

Shopping feeds the soul, well at least while the money's rolling in haha. The devil has finally convinced bigbadwolf and herself to go to the city over the weekend. I've been such a slack arse. The city feels so faraway with all the road works going on, and the fact that work is so much closer to home in comparison.

Bigbadwolf has been waiting for me to decide which size I wanted for my birthday present, and I've been such a fickle pickle since the small one's so cute, while the medium one is good for work and for accessorizing winter wear such as trench coats, jackets and scarves. Bigbadwolf thinks I'm such a lie because I always categorize everything with work so I can justify myself easily without having to clear my conscience. :P

I finally made my decision, and thank goodness I did as it was the last one left in the shop. It's the new season's Neverfull MM bag from Louis Vuitton. I chose the medium one, and I love it! Thanks babe, I heart I heart the bag you. :p

I also dropped by at Kit to buy the Cosmedicine Healthy Cleanser that missy_addie was singing praises of, and I ended up buying the starter kit for the whole facial product. -_-" Why do I always end up doing that. The cleanser is fantabulous, I keep thinking, omg am I done already? It's so different compared to the other make up removers, and it is a facial wash as well! We'll see how it goes with the other products as I'm only on day four at the moment.

Patrick is such a manwhore for bags, wahaha. This pic is hilarious! Okay, I'm lying, he was being silly because he was so plastered. I think he ended up this way because most of the girls kept asking him to pass the bags over to them, and he got frustrated and decided that he should hang it all over himself, although that doesn't really make sense haha. Ah well, I'm so happy, thanks for the bag baby!Y

Thanks Lizzie!

Last weekend was a funfilled and relaxing one. What a long weekend since it was a public holiday the following Monday as it was the Queen's birthday. All hail queen lizzie! On Friday night, we went out for dinner since Ashley baby was leaving us for her holidays in Beijing the next day. How lucky! We went for hotpot at Antarctic Circle and then our weekly drinking at Echoes after. As usual, we were really loud, and tipsy happy haha.

The next day was alot more relaxing. I lazed around at home, went out to eat with a friend whom we haven't seen in ages at little taipei. It was great catching up and seeing you again gurl. Went next door to eat dinner and then curled up in front of cable tv and fell asleep at gasp, eleven o'clock!

I woke up the next day at around ten, got ready and we left on our way to sunny gold coast. I was expecting it to be really cold since it had been raining the whole of last week but to my surprise, the weather was perfectly fine. It was cool and breezy, not necessary for a thick jacket at all.

Bigbadwolf and I went to surfers paradise first where I went to the circle of cavill to check out my MNG hehehe. I didn't see anything I like except for a suit for work. I dunno how, but bigbadwolf always manage to talk me out of buying something. -_-" I told him I couldn't go all the way to gc for mng and not buy anything at all. That just doesn't make any sense! But he managed to convince me to go to harbour town after, and I came back home with plenty of trench coats and a long sleeve collared top for work thanks to the end of financial year sales tee hee. That sure spelt satisfaction for me. ;D

We also went to check out on my birthday pressie from bigbadwolf at surfers 'cept I couldn't make up my mind with what size I wanted to get so I delayed it again. I'm still thinking. Big or small? Big or small? Ahh.... the things you can worry about in life.

Jupiters casino was just a stone throw away so how could we not stop by to try our luck? Temptation was too strong since we haven't stepped into a casino for a long time now. We ended up winning just on pokies so shopping, food, and everything we spent that night was for free, wahoo! I wish times like these could go on forever, it's so much easier on the pocket for a shopaholic grins.

We went to Hog's breath cafe after our productive session for some steak and dayam, things are gonna get nasty now. We were told that the wait was just going to be fifteen minutes and was brought to the bar for some drinks. Fifteen minutes turned to half an hour, then forty five minutes, then finally we were brought to a table. The waitress serving us only then mentioned that the prime beef was all gone for the night as they ran out ages ago, so the only option we had was just the normal steak.

We groaned in agony and settled for less since we've already waited for so long, our tummy was crying outloud. The food only came out half an hour later and by then, boi were we hungry! Along came a bunch of tipsy agro delinquents and they started making a big fuss of not having prime beef and that whoever paid to eat the normal steak for the same price are such turds. -_-

They were just sitting opposite us so it got really loud when they were giving all of us a bloody hard time. It was already bad enough. They sat there drinking champagne and cocktails, and shouting and cursing the whole night. Growl! Obviously we wouldn't feel good since we had to pay the same price but how is that going to help? We were given a choice of staying to eat (not that it was much of a choice since we've already waited for so gawd damn long) or leave straightaway. But we stayed, and you did too so shut up and just eat already! If you feel so deep about it, then just leave, geez.

After we finished our food, we went to pay at the counter, and the same bunch of rowdy boys were still chucking a shit there. All of us had to wait another fifteen minutes just to pay for our food. That did it, we're never going back to eat at Hog's breath cafe again. It was my bad since bigbadwolf wanted to eat buffet at the casino and I felt like steak at Surfers. Boohoo, sorry bubi!

We drove back after all the hoohas, and joined the crew for some drinks and singing therapy again. Ooo, you know how we always drink hahn ice beer with sour plums? Now if you add lemon with it, it will taste even better! Not many people like it but for the rest that has tried, we're officially hooked. :p

Okay I think I've been blabbering on for too long. For the last day of the long weekend, kanny, yennie and I went for grocery shopping to buy everything that was needed for the korean bbq. We ended up buying too much that we didn't dare to defrost the others. It was fantastic since I bought two big plates of ox tongue and that really settled all the cravings I had for korean bbq. Yennie was playing around with the frozen ox tongues and oyster blades, handling them like chips on a casino table while we were preparing bwahaha. See what the cooks get up to behind the kitchen! No la, our hands were very clean. :p

Here are some visuals so I can shut up for now hehe, enjoy!

My Weakness

Somebody, take that play station away from him already! I no I no heart you! Hahaha, growl!

It's been a long day today. I've been in the car all day and walking around the coast for work. So after all the appointments and what nots, we were walking around at Surfers when oh my good gawd, I saw MNG! :O I didn't know we had MNG here already! It's been so long since I've gone down to the coast. Oh how torturous it was walking pass my beloved shop and not being able to step into it.

I halted as I neared the door step, took a good long look at the shop forlornly, walking tiny steps towards it, my heart beating as I was still standing out there, and with all the will power I had in me, I quickly walked away and never turned back again.

T_T

Who wants to go to the coast with me? I neeeeeed to go. Yes, I need, not want! ;p

I came back home and exclaimed to my cousins next door of my discovery. They were telling me how it was so overpriced compared to malaysia (of course la) and that there weren't anything special that was catchy to the eye, so no loss, dear shazza.

I think she was just trying to make me feel better. I need to go pay them a visit hehehe. I can go for thai food too at my favourite restaurant while I'm there. And buy my
shiseido products as well! Sounds productive doesn't it?

It's just that everytime I shop at MNG, I always manage to find one or two things that I really really like, be it a skirt, a jacket, a dress, or even just a fancy top. Throughout the years that I've visited the shops occasionally when I was in melbourne or back in malaysia, I always go home with something I absolutely love! Maybe not this year when I was back in mal, but you get the drift. Okay I sound like I'm talking about some effed up relationship here but whatever haha.

This weekend, this weekend... I shalt shop to my heart's content. Sounds like a plan? Alrighht! ;D Now if my bank account balance could so kindly match my shopping drive...

Milla Jovovich in MNG's ad. Yes milla, I'm coming already!

p/s: I can't believe I wrote a whole post on this. -_-" I'm such a loser!

Of Vintage Buys and Bird Shit

I've only just discovered the beauty in shorter vintage necklaces. I was hooked onto the long chained ones before, but now I've fallen in love with the shorter chained ones as well! They'd look superbly yummy with black tops or v-necks, slurrrp haha. Bought it this arvo, thank god it caught my eye while we were at Riccarton mall before I headed to the grocery shops. :p Naughty naughty, why do I always get sidetracked, oh bugga. It's alot more convenient since we've gotta wear our bulky jackets out all the time over here. >.<

Oh the nerve! Before I forget, when we just left the house to go out today, Bigbadwolf and I had this little conflict in the car before we stopped to park to head for some vietnamese pho. As I stepped out of the car, I was contemplating whether to stay angry, ;P or to let bigbadwolf off the hook.

So I decided not to be a crabby biatch, and walked quickly to catch his hand, and just as I was doing that, a bird flew right behind me and crapped! Fuck it missed me only by a bit. I was screaming in disgust and instantly groped the back of my jacket to check whether it got me, and thank god it didn't, damn bird brains.

Then it suddenly hit me... had I decided to stay a biatch, I wouldn't have walked a few steps quicker to hold his hand, which probably meant that I would've been splattered by bird crap! Phooey.

Bigbadwolf turned back and saw me still standing there rooted to the spot, stopped to ask what was wrong since it didn't hit me anyway. I told him what happened before and what I was plotting hehehe, he was half listening, half cursing away under his breath hahaha. I told him, had I not decided to forgive him, I'd be completely shit faced by now eww.

He beamed and exclaimed,

"See! Even the big guy up there is on my side babe, tell me who's wrong now huh, huh!!"

0_o"

My dear lord, I know better now to control my temper aight, so you can stop with the flying shit yo.

p/s: the chinese side of me totally exploded, and I went off to buy lotto after wahaha.
you know how the saying goes when it comes to crap... 狗屎運!!!

Its A Girl Thang

Check that out, it's a reversible hoodie I surfed into online. Oh my, I'm lovin' it so much! It doesn't state the price though, bet it ain't affordable eh. -_-" You can wear it casually during the day time, and then when it's time to partae at night, just reverse it and then tadahh..

Magicaboo!

Look, when the hoodie is unzipped it looks like a pair of wings? I call this two for the price of one! I just emailed them. Hopefully it'll be affordable. :p It's straight out classy! How handy would that be!!! Go out the whole day, flip that jacket and then change of style, all ready to have a good night. ;D The gold chains makes it look more bling too hehehe. I love the black one! I
t is more practical since nearly all my white jackets have been stained.

Some are from my gurlies' lip gloss marks from pissed huggings, some from people who accidentally brush their fags on me 0_0, and some that just appeared out of the blue after I woke up the next morning. :p Argh, I really should cut down on my retail therapy sessions, they are so not doin' me any good.

i.will.get.over.it.boohoo.

Anyhoo, guess what Jac, I found some heels that you liked! Remember the short boots you saw at harbour town? And you particularly liked the metal heels? Hehe, there we go... this seems alot more practical to wear in Malaysia instead of the boots!

Ohh I also surfed into Shu Uemera's limited edition premium false lashes. Seriously who'd wear it out on casual nights out? :p Lets just leave it to the catwalk girls now ei. I bet the one on the left was inspired by peacocks grins.

You're Closer to Heaven When You're Wearing High Heels

This is a picture of my cousin, Amanda, and I, taken in Shoobiz at Garden City. It was a random shot taken by my beloved daddy during his stay in Brisbane while waiting for us. We were trying on these sexy pair of snake-skinned pointy heels...damn they looked so hot! When we got back home, daddy was scanning through the pictures he took, paused at this particular picture, stares, and he told me that he reckons he’s got what it takes to become a professional photographer because of this random shot. I mean like...

0_o What the?

Actually it does look pretty good except both of us were casually clad and my curls were dying on me. Actually, I kinda slept on it and was too lazy to tousle it a little with mousse.

I’ve just finished two of my exams, Tax Revenue Law and Strategic Management, and then what comes after would be two of my hardest subject for the semester… Company Accounting and Cost Accounting. >.<

I didn’t sleep a wink last night because I was up studying the whole night, trying to squeeze a semester’s worth of strategic management knowledge into my pea bwain. Oh don’t you hate it when your exams approach and you start to regret not studying earlier? I feel that way every semester, yet I still cant seem to find that particular oomph to turn over a new leaf. Like they say, a leopard cannot change its spots overnight.

My boi has just handed in his final assignment today and freaking oath, he’s a graduate now! Masters in digital design. When is it gonna be my turn? He’s planning to celebrate whilst I’m still in the midst of my examinations. I feel depressed. Oh well, after my exam next Wednesday, I’ll be leaving on a skiing trip to New Zealand on the 16th with my boi and some friends, after which I’d have to rush back to study for a few days, and then finish up my last exam! Then hooray! One week break of relaxation in Brissie, and then I’m on my way to Malaysia! Wahahaha… I can hardly wait!

Chartreuse

In case all of you were wondering if I went to either one of the dance parties, well I went to both of them! :P ..and I managed to wake up at 10am the following morning to hand in my company accounting assignment and attend my lecture and tutorials! I know I know, they don’t call me SuperShaz for nothing you know. tee hee hee ..wait, I'm suppose to be Devilishaz right? Okay I better stop before someone starts calling me SuperSizeShaz. >.<

Anyways, the Gravity Dance party in the Mercury nightclub rocked my socks off. It was suppose to be a Japanese dance party as the organiser was part of a Japanese association but the turnout was mostly other Asians. They started off with a break dancing performance, and after the applause and whistling when it ended, they vacated the dance floor and everyone bombarded the place! My girlfriends and I grabbed a few drinks before we decided to hit the dance floor. My boyfriend? Well he doesn't dance so he was just drinking with his buddy at the V.I.P section upstairs and yeah… probably a good place to check out the chicks. Ahems… All of us were extremely high that night, which is excellent because what's clubbing without being high?

The next night, I proceeded to the Klub Kandy dance party at the Family night club and boi... was I disappointed! The music was good, but damn it was packed! We had to squeeze our way through the crowd before we could get to the bar and the dance floor? Its a man eat man world out there. You gotta push and shove and push and pinch, okay, maybe not pinch alright, till people make way for you to dance. But after a few drinks, its always after a few drinks, we started to lighten up and I felt a tinsy bit better. Tee hee. The dance party was still better at Mercury though! *Sorry ruby :P*

Ooh by the way guys, if any of you happen to like strong liquors, please drink Chartreuse! It is green in colour, you know... looks like Midori, but I tell you, it so doesn't taste like Midori! Chartreuse has been my all time favourite ever since I came back to Brisbane and hey... you can save money by drinking Chartreuse! Why? Please allow me explain. A shot of tequila normally costs around six aussie dollars, whereas a shot of Chartreuse costs around eight aussie dollars. Now you are wondering how can Chartreuse be cheaper? Waiiit!! I'm not done yet! This is so... because you probably need around eight to ten shots of tequila before you can seriously feel it in you, you know.. like really damn high, whereas for Chartreuse, tee hee.. three or four shots will keep you dancing for quite sometime! It makes me smile like this -> ;D every time I have one! See! now you know why it is cheaper to drink Chartreuse!

You still not sure about Chartreuse? Fine. I'll google some information about it for you...
Chartreuse is an herbal liqueur made by the Carthusian Monks near Grenoble, France. According to the tale, the formula for chartruese was invented by a 16th century alchemist as an attempt to create aqua vitae (the waters of life.) Aqua vitae was believed to restore youth to the aged, endow animation to the dead, and be a key ingredient in the creation of the philosophers stone. Though this attempt at its creation seems to fall somewhat short of the legendary effects, it was promoted as a heal-all tonic by the descendant of the alchemist, and was bequeathed to the Carthusian Order upon his death. This formula of 130 herbs has been secret for nearly 400 years. Today, only three brothers of that monestary know how to make chartreuse.

Charteuse is made in three varieties; yellow chartreuse, green chartreuse, and VEP elixir chartreuse. Yellow chartreuse is a pale golden color, extremely sweet, and tastes roughly like plum wine with a touch of honey, or perhaps a delicate version of Benedictine (which is probably related.) Green chartreuse is fiery; the shade of green actually named for this liquor denotes an intense herbal taste vaguely reminiscent of absinthe. Also like absinthe, it has an extremely high alcohol content. VEP elixir chartreuse, the rarest and most expensive kind, sacrifices a small amount of green's intensity for all of the sweetness of the yellow.

Though the precise herbs in chartreuse are not publically known, there is a small quantity of thujone, the active chemical in wormwood (and consequently, absinthe.) This considered, it is no surprise that the intoxication caused by chartruese is both stronger than it's alcohol content (110 proof) would otherwise indicate, and slightly different because of thujone's psychoactive qualities.
Green chartreuse is particularly loved in the party scene because of it's efficiency; a very small quantity can maintain a buzz for most of an evening, and a larger quantity can take the sharp edges off of everything. For many, it is the poor man's absinthe; it has a smidgen of its psychotropic effects because of the thujone, and it has an herbal taste and a sharp kick reminiscent of absinthe experience. A few shots of green chartreuse, and you're completely wasted.

MNG

It ticks me off why brisbane does not even have one single MNG shop around! There is a new one opening up at sydney and there is one at melb, but why not brisssiee? i want mng, you people back in malaysia are so fortunate.. i wanna go back to mal to shop again! february is such a looong wait. does anyone know if mng has catalogue shopping? :( the online shopping isnt of any use at all. okay, i think i am beginning to sound extremely pathetic, i shalt stop here for the time being and stef, if you are reading this, you are so fortunate you beeeech :P
