Taiwan

I love the night life in Taiwan. I'm currently at Tainan, which is south of Taiwan, where the boyfriend lives and work at. Unlike Taipei, it is still a developing area. It is not as modern, nor can you consider living in Tainan as leading a city life. The living cost here is alot cheaper compared to Taipei, and the food and night markets here are superb!

Talk about bargains, I got a pair of pointy heels for only approximately AUD$11! The same heels bought in Brisbane would've probably been five times the cost! I bought four pairs of heels at one go, key chains, sunnies, fancy zippos, and lotsa jewellery! If I can find my blue tooth usb to upload photos from my mobile phone, I might post up pictures of my bargains and the food at the night market.

I found it kinda hard to take pictures at ease in the night market because everyone stares at you as if you've never seen food before, taking pictures like some prisoner whose just been let out of jail! I know okay, so I resorted to taking picture secretly with my mobile phone tee hee hee! -_-"

Anyways, I went to visit Dondon, a friend who used to live in Brisbane before, at her workplace in Tainan city. Her dad opens a cafe, so she's basically the bosses daughter, working for him everyday at the cafe. When she came over to visit us in Brisbane at the beginning of November, she kept going on about their famous papaya milk drink they offer in their cafe, and how I should go there to work with her if I ever live in Tainan, so Fiona really wanted to see pictures of her workplace. Here you go babes, pictures of Siao Ling Cafe! I know, same name as Justin's wife hey. I think it actually means Little forrest if you translate it directly in english.

I made the boyfriend drive me to the cafe after he finished work. We went to the night market first before arriving here. It is about 15-20 minutes away from the boyfriend's house.

Their papaya milk drink actually tasted really good. Haven't tasted good papaya milk drinks since the last time my mom made me some. Those in Brisbane are awfully watery.
















Dondon and I. Dondon is actually her nickname, her real name is Teresa, but it sounds kinda foreign after calling her dondon for so many years.

Taken on the way back home, nearly 3am on a weekday. I know, the boyfriend had to stay up to do extra work since he wanted to take one day's leave so that we could stay longer in Taipei after the weekend.
