Taiwan III - Road Trip II
Aren't these pictures so much better? Hahaha, I know, the post before were all dull colours, photos of old buildings, dried up rivers... urgh, how depressing. They remind me of the wrinkled skins and patchy freckles of old people in contrast with these. These look so vibrant, cheerful and alive. Both are still beautiful in different ways, but of course, the attraction here is so much more obvious. What's with me, okay I better shut up. So much for letting it all out hehehe.
The boyfriend usually detests the idea of me whipping out my camera and taking pictures of almost everything I see, but going to places like these were different. Haha. He used to be really annoyed with my camera because it always made its entrance at most of the restaurants we go to, even those little hotpot shops and while I was on the bike. Especially on the bike. He'd go...

"Babe, do you want your pictures or would you rather hold onto me and sit safely?" as we were on the bike.
"....I want
5 seconds later...
"....I want my photos la aiyee," and start snapping all over again.
Le Sigh. I love my photos of places I go to okay. Happy memories, memories that I can see and take back with me. Okay, I'm doing it again, going off topic again!
Anyways, these are pictures taken on the way to An Ping Lu, some place we were heading to that's filled with plenty of hawker stalls that sold mouth watering finger food. I love I love muh food! One thing though, the food here is alot sweeter compared to food in Malaysia. The oyster ommelette (oa jien), frog legs, some of the noodles, fried tofu are all cooked with this sweet sauce I absolutely loathe! Come on, it just kills the the taste of the food. It's like eating fried rice, chicken, steak and just about anything with ketchup. Oh man, I'm going off topic again and again!
The sound of the waves, the smile on your face,
takes me to faraway, to your secret place.
