Happy April Fools Day!

I've finally found a job in brisbane and will be moving back for good, woohoo! I'm in cloud nine baby! This is too good to be true! Bye bye new zealand, hellooo brisvegas, I'm coming back to you! Fact or myth?

Happy april fools peeps! Hehehe, I've been pranked twice by my lil coussie with her fake sob stories and about her papa dearest. Oh boi, I'm such a loser haha. To think I was so sympathetic! Anyhoo, what did I do today? I was surfing online and reading up on stupid pranks that have been pulled over the years at museum of hoaxes.

There was this one where burger king advertised in the papers introducing whopper burgers for left handed peeps in America in 1998. According to the advertisement, the new whopper included the same ingredients as the original whopper (lettuce, tomato, hamburger patty, etc.), but all the condiments were rotated 180 degrees for the benefit of their left-handed customers and that the sauce drips off from the right side. Pretty handy? No, pretty stupid! I can't believe people fell for it, and the right handers were requesting for their very own special right handed burgers as well, hahaha.

Then there was the other one in 1996 where virgin cola announced that in the interest of consumer safety it had integrated a new technology into its cans. When the cola passed its sell-by date, the liquid would react with the metal in the can, turning the can itself bright blue. Virgin warned that consumers should therefore avoid purchasing all blue cans. The joke was that back then, Pepsi had only recently unveiled its newly designed cans and they were bright blue. Hahaha, this one was pretty cool!

Did anyone pull any pranks or been pranked by anyone today? I hope I wasn't the only loser around. ;P
