A Series of Unfortunate Events
Last saturday Jac and her hubbyshwubbs Eric, bigbadwolf and I decided to head to No Black Tie for a quiet night out after many nights of heavy drinking session.

There were live bands there and the place was quite neat and cosy.. a pretty good change I'd say.
There were live bands there and the place was quite neat and cosy.. a pretty good change I'd say.
...but not even fifteen minutes later, my night turned into a living disaster. I started throwing up continuously just so suddenly to a point where nothing else could come out. Whatever went in just had to come out.
I didn't even drink a sip. Between each visit to the toilet, I sat there at the sofa trying to mask the pain with a smile and made little jokes here and there. I think I was subconsciously convincing myself that I'd feel better after awhile if I tried hard enough to be normal. Everyone was drinking and talking and eating away, while I just sat there with my hands clamped to my tummy, trying not to frown and to swallow in the pain.
I kept thinking to myself, "did I eat to quickly before? Or were all the late nights out taking a toll on me?". It got so bad that everyone had to leave because I was feeling really bad. I couldn't tough it out anymore.
We asked for the bill after giving the credit card and the foreign waiter was giving us a bloody hard time.
Us: "How much is the bill?"
Waiter: "...I dunno!"
-_-"
U: "Er.. excuse me how much is the bill?"
W: "I dunno! You neverrr askedd me!"
0_o wtf.
Don't they usually say hold on let me go and check if they hadn't done so? Nevermind...
U: "Okay we gave you the card, can we have the bill..."
*slaps forehead*
So he came back after awhile and then...
0_0 It was up to six hundred bucks for opening a bottle of black label, a tiny plate of sashimi and half a dozen of chicken wings.. and cover charge?!!
U: "Excuse me.. why is the cover charge included?"
W: "I dunno!! I told you! *glances around* I I I told him! I told him!"
By then we were all getting pretty confused. Apparently at the beginning when we arrived, he wasn't pointing to the live band to say that it would start later. Rather, it was because there would be a live band so we'd all have to pay a cover charge even if we opened a bottle.
His accent was also really thick, heavy and so superdupermegaultra-ly unclear, no one even understood what he said! We all assumed that way since he pointed to a paper showing us who were playing that night instead of pointing to the paragraph about the cover charge policy and explaining it clearly to us.
Apparently after 1030pm, there'd be an individual cover charge to be paid since there would be a live band playing. We came before that, so er.. what's going on? The best thing was, the person who was suppose to play that night couldn't even make it as he had missed his flight, and they still expected us to pay regardless. Phooey, what a rip off. We still have half a bottle of black label left though because we couldn't finish it due to my churning tummy. Now we're so turned off I doubt we'd even want to go back there. -_-"
It's funny how we couldn't decide whether to be annoyed or to find it kinda amusing how stupid that whole ordeal had been.
I got home after all the drama and found out that my mom had been puking all night as well and I had got home just in time for dad to drive us to the 24 hours clinic. We had a shot each and some medication to take back home. Mom got better, whereas everything was heading downhill for me.
I spent the whole night puking my ass off. For once, I thought of all the bulimic people there were in this world and how the fuck they could stand vomiting after every meal they'd consume.
Puking is just plain freaking torturous to the throat man.
I had to go back to the clinic and ask why the jab wasn't working, and she started to panic and just wrote me a referrel letter so I could go to a hospital. Did she just fucking give up hope on me? Gee thanks alot doc!
My dad decided to play doctor and emphasised about the fever that had been building up. He was sure that was the reason to why the jab didn't help stop all the puking so he told the doctor to give me some amoxcyllin and panadol and if that didn't work, then he'd take me to the hospital. The doctor looked kinda pale, and just nodded in agreement and prescribed me the medication after.
I took my medication straightaway and slept like a baby after. No more fucking throwing up man.
To think I would've been hospitalised for some silly reason the doctor didn't know of. There would've been so much more complications for nothing. That's just so wrong!
Soon after, bigbadwolf started throwing up and had to stay in bed the next day with a bad tummy too. Dad did so too the day after. Looks like mom and I decided to spread the love to our loved ones hahaha.
My lil sista's the strongest outta the lot hey, she's still munching on her Famous Amos cookies and watching tv with her legs on the coffee table. I on the otherhand was lying lifelessly next to her and she was giving me that, "what!! I can't help being healthier than you!" look. -_-" Apparently the sickness is passed on from the air around us and alot of family has experienced it, so yes.. the wind has blown our way and it sure is contagious.
My mom blames it on the not-so-fresh-oysters that dad insisted on having at this deserted japanese restaurant in Times square.

I'll post up the other pics some other time, the sashimi was superb hehe. Dad reckons it's the bad weather and not his fault. :p Either way, it was a horrible experience. So much for a nice vacation for bigbadwolf. Oh well, 12 more days to go, we need to get well soon and make the most of what's left of our vacation in Malaysia.

I know what a tourist-y shot har har. It's his first time here :p and I've got tonnes more to blog about hahaha! So damn shy taking so many pics there. I can so see all of you smacking ur foreheads going eeeks. grin :p Whatever~ hahaha. Okay time for my antibiotics, toodles!
