Exploring the City
During the christmas holidays, there weren't anything interesting to do, so we decided to go explore the city. We walked around at the city centre, went to the botanical gardens, and also paid a visit to the art centre and museum.
That was the time when I'd just recovered from my horrible two weeks long of sickness. It was so refreshing to step out of the house instead of feeling all gloomy and sickly in bed. My visit to the docs together with medication cost me nearly a hundred bucks, the horror! Oh how I miss medicare now back in brissie. I could've gone shopping or drank with that measly hundred bucks!
I felt so touristy taking so many pics wherever I went. Clickety click, nothing escaped my cam. I absolutely adore the scenery and tranquility here at times, but I really loathe the small population. Hey, the more the merrier! I feel like I'm retiring at such a young age hehehe. So peaceful and so slow.
As we walked past timezone, a video arcade centre, some kiddo delinquents stopped us and asked if we could help them buy cigarettes because they were just a year off apparently. I stopped to have a look at who was talking to me. The one asking was chewing on his gum loudly and thumping on his bball waiting for our reply, while his other maori friend was just leaning on his skateboard, his elbow quivering as he tried to balance his weight on the thin board with his legs crossed and looking fiercely at us. Another girl just stood there with her hands on her hips, waiting impatiently.
The situation was kinda funny since they all looked hella young while trying to look cool and be tough. They were probably only fifteen at most. We declined and they didn't take it very well. They made sure they walked a metre away from us before cursing filthily at us, and quickly ran away and disappeared at the corner of the building. Cowards. It was kinda cute though hahaha.
Anyhoo, photos! That's the driver chauffeuring his tourist around hoho.

Wee, at the city and the nearby botanical gardens.

I feel like I've been transported back to the ancient times haha.

Fooling around at the museum, as usual.

The first picture is taken in the museum, and the second one is at the art centre. Cool eh.

I spotted this cutiepie and clicked away. Bigbadwolf said to stop as his daddy was watching me. I told him it's suppose to be a compliment so it should be alright. :p

Colours, colours. Do I look like I was really sitting on the stairs? :p

Pretty lil flowers and the evil casino.

If only there were signs for us to look at when we're lost in life. Oh well, peace out.
